Doctor Complaint: Alberto Alzate - Orange Park Medical Center

This doctor (Alberto Alzate; Orange Park Medical- Orange Park, Fl.) gave me a medication. I told him I had taken it before and that it didn't work for me. He left the room and sent the nurse in to tell me "too bad". The guy doesn't even speak english. He went to school at some school in mexico "Calle de something". I don't know how he managed to get licensed in the U.S. Anyways, I returned a few days later- complaining that the medication he had prescribed to me was not working. He began to yell at me ( of course his English was so poor, I couldn't even understand what he was saying). I explained to him that in my discharge instructions it said to return to the ER if you were having problems, or your problems were worsening- the basics. He got huffy with me and told me that I was stable and because I didn't have insurance I was going to have to give him $100.00 before he would treat me... I guess he thinks he is still in Mexico! My Wife called down there and got in touch with the hospital administer. They said they were going to have a chat with him and appologized for how I had been treated. Hopefully- they explained to him that he needed to work on his bed side manner and his English- And advised him to not try to get $ out of his patients while they are sitting in the ER trying to get service. I give this guy a zero on a scale of 1-10. Maybe enough complaints about him and the hospital will wise up and find someone who is less of a liability!!!!!!!

I would like to know why the coke machines dont work on the fourth floor. Do we need to start branging our own drinks? You do know alot of people dont wont to be there. Why cant you make there stay more happy for guest.
Thanks please get the machines fixed.

Dr. Forester was extreamly rude and unprofessional. He was very sarcastic and treated me like i should have known what he was telling me even though i am a 24 year old girl who was going through a miscarrage and was very scared and worried about what was going to happen.I would never ever let this doctor treat me for anything i would honestly leave and come back when someone else was avalible no matter how much pain i was in. Not only did he treat me like i was an idiot and stupid all of the nurses said that he was like that to all of his patients and he treated the staff like garbage as well, i know i told at least three nurses that knew exactly who i was talking about before i even told them his name, no one should be treated like this and he should NOT be working in this field with that kind of bedside manner. I really hope no one else has to be treated this way by him or anyone else in the medical field, OPMC saved my dads life and i have never had a problem other than this horrible doctor, i dont even think he is worthy of being called a doctor.

This doctor is unprofessional. My mother was admitted and he came to see her once in 5 days. She was admitted due to a surgery he performed wrong and this was her 3rd time coming to the hospital in a month. They kept sending her home until I stated that I would have my attorney look into the matter. The last time she was brought in she was unconscious for 30 mins! He has not returned my or my families calls in over 2 months. He is not worthy to have MD after his name and OP hospital should be ashamed to have him on their staff!
