Doctor Complaint: Unknown - Ingalls Hospital

I went to Ingall Memorial Hospital located One Ingalls Drive Located in Harvey Illinois 60426 telephone number (708)333-2300.
I had been suffering from a cold which had developed into Pnuemonia. During my emergency room wait I was spoken to unprofessionally by the emergency room attendant as I was given unappropriate staring by police staff. The nurse was told that Tylenol and robotussin cough syrup did not work as the doctor and the nurse forced this medication, my symptom became worse as I was then admitted and treated for pnumonia at Mercy hospital and was diagnosis with Cancer, Ingalls hospital indicated I had broncritis. I had been recieving bills indicating a balance of $149.72 as I do not owe this hospital anything and they are harassing me through thier billing department. I want them to erase this debtness and stop harassing me as I wish to file a law siut of pending dmamges caused by this hospital. I have suffered emotional distress and life threating illiness that I was released too soon and was improperly diagnosised. i SENT A LETTER TO THE HOSPITAL ceo AND HAVE ASKED THAT THIS HOSPITAL STOP SENDING ME BILLS AS I DO NOT OWE THEM AND THEY SHOULD SUBMIT THE BILLS TO MY INSURANCE

I read the complaint you posted in January 2010 and I am very sorry that you were dissatisfied with the service you received in our Emergency Department in June 2009. Hospital billing department is worst in the world.
Monies paid by insurance company not noted and we
were billed for the amount several phone calls to dept. We have reported the fraud as instructed and started an investigation; since the CEO Kurt Johnson deemed it not important enough to respond.
Services are listed on incorrect dates. The personnel are rude. The accounts are sent to collections without checking. The whole billing dept. needs to either re trained or dissmissed.
