Doctor Complaint: None - Umass Marlborough Hospital

http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/Hospitalcare/

This Petitions Statement is for all the people who have been at Hospitals in the Emergence Rooms around the world in USA as well. Let me share a story with you.
Read this story all below.
Lets fix all together hospitals to have nice blankets. Get all MFG companies together to improve all Hospitals everywhere.
Give Patience options on nice soft blankets on their emergence beds. Lets have a study done on blankets on hospital beds and in the emergence rooms around the world. To see what hospital is the warmest and is nice.
No response from these email from any hospitals just want to make money. Instead of keeping patience warm after surgery and ER emergence rooms.
I think all patience deserve to have nice soft blanket when asked to strip down to nothing. Do you think?
Would you like to be naked and cold with nothing to cuddle in warm and soft.
Wish could have gave my grandfather a soft blanket and relatives and friends there a nice soft blanket to get well soon
Sometimes I find in all hospitals staff are to busy to get a blanket for the patience. This all goes for Dr offices as well. What do you think?
If I need help I want a nice blanket every time ok to keep me warm.

Blanket Man George Clooney
George Clooney can\\\\\\\'t sleep without a special cashmere \\\\\\\'\\\\\\\'security blanket\\\\\\\'\\\\\\\' which he takes everywhere with him. George Clooney reportedly can\\\\\\\'t sleep without a special cashmere \\\\\\\"security blanket\\\\\\\".
The 48-year-old actor takes the sheet everywhere with him, and insisted maids in Hawaii lay it on top of his bed every day while shooting his latest film \\\\\\\'The Descendants\\\\\\\' there. A worker at the Kahala Hotel in Honolulu told the Daily Star newspaper: \\\\\\\"We had to lay it on top of his sheets when we turned down his bed. \"It was pretty funny. It looked a lot like a security blanket. George left it in his room when he checked out and we had to send it to his next address. He obviously can\\\\\\\'t sleep without it.\" George was pictured taking romantic strolls on the beach with his girlfriend, Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis, while filming in Honolulu. In \\\\\\\'The Descendants\\\\\\\' George plays a wealthy landowner who\\\\\\\'s seemingly perfect life is turned upside down when his unfaithful wife slips into a coma and he is forced to find her lover. The film is scheduled for release next year.
I was thinking how to make more revenue for the hospitals and Rehab places last night.
Maybe have in every room a nice soft blanket in each room sealed in a brand new acrylic blanket. Charge like $10 or $15 per patience to use in the room to open if Nurse is to busy to get a blanket for the patience or if the patience does not like the free blanket they have a better option. That way the blankets do not need to be washed and you can make more revenue. I am sure the patience would pay $10 or $15 for better blanket. After all the airlines charging for the blankets they give on the airplane today. Also the revenue is up in the department for the airlines. Why not raise more revenue that can help your hospital get more revenue from people that can pay more for better health service.

The extra revenue can be used for bonuses, pay off bills for patience that have no money, more staff or new medical equipment.

I was wondering if you ER room would get nicer soft blankets. Then those cheap blankets you have in ER room. I have talked to several nurse staff, doctors and patience. I have done my own independent study on blankets in hospitals and other locations. No one has nice soft blankets. They should have nice merino wool blanket or acrylic blanket. I understand people can steal these items. Then invest in better security in your hospital if that is the case. Have theme do inventory count everyday at 8AM and another at 6PM.
I wish that UMASS Marlborough, MA would have nice soft acrylic blanket with the satin binding again someday. This is a non-profit hospital vs a profit hospital. I not sure if profit hospital do have better blankets. I do believe they do.
Why the hospital changed from not having nice soft fuzzy acrylic blankets to the cheap cotton blankets.
I think all patience deserve to have nice soft blanket when asked to strip down to nothing. Do you think?

I agree Hospitals like UMASS should get soft blankets. Like Merino wool blankets in ER emergence room. I would pay extra for 5 star service. What about nice soft blankets from http://www.vermontcountrystore.com product called
Merino Wool Blankets Item #: 50591
Finally, a Blanket Both Heavyweight and Velvety-Soft: Our Washable Australian Merino Wool Blanket
I guess hospitals do not want to make extra money. I been to hospital for real life and death emergence 6 times. I would have gave you extra $800 to have nicer blanket. That could be to hire a young college kid to pass out soft blankets. Also make a old person and family member have a better death.

Hospital In Complaint

This hospital is honestly disgusting. I came here because my fiance has cancer and has been going through chemo, his temp spiked high today so the last step was to bring him in. Chemo patients are very sensitive to germs and infections, etc. We come into the "private, steril" room and to find blood on the walls and the dirtiest floor I have ever seen in a hospital. I actually wet a paper towel and wiped the floor with my foot, just to give them the benefit of the dout to see if it was just stained, nope, dirty. I wish I could upload a photo of this so called Steril room and show you how incredable and not so steril it actually is. Honestly, what is going on here, Hospitals are supposed to be clean and steril, right?

He is also cold, the AC is on full blast, do or did they EVER offer him a blanket? Nope, I asked for one and they told me no since he has a temp. Its been 2 hours since we got here, the Dr didnt even check his temp to make sure hes not rising above a dangerous level as he was previously. I am so apauled and dont know what to do or where to take this, this comment will not be the end of this. We have been in this disgusting room for hours and not one person has advised us of what we are waiting for, no fluids have been given, no blankets have been offered...NOTHING. How would these nurses that are sitting there talking about movies and sleep overs feel if this was their loved one going through a tough time and feeling the worst in their life? I am disgusted, annoyed, appauled, amazed, and angry at Marlborough hospitals ER, nurses, and Drs and will NEVER be back nor will I EVER recommend this ER to others.

One nice man, triage nurse that admitted us actually showed he cared and was empathetic to His condition.

After all of this frustration, waiting, we are most likely going to Worcester ER. Never again. This is crazy.
