Doctor Complaint: Dr. Adams - Baylor Med Ctr At Grapevine
Avoid Dr. Adams, because when he shows up to your room to give consultation you will end up with a bill that will cost you hundreds of dollars, that’s what happened to us. In January my husband was diagnosed with Colon cancer stage 4, a week later he had a surgery. Next morning after the surgery, Dr. Adams showed up and said that he is working another oncologist who is supposed to be my husband’s doctor. He looked at my husband and said “you have 2-3 months to live; we are all going to die sooner or later. Only God knows when”. When my husband asked if he has looked at the biopsy results, he said no. When he asked if he had looked at the CT scan, he said no. After 10 minutes of talking he just left, leaving us depressed and sad. Before giving his “consultation” he didn’t mention that he is not taking our insurance and we didn’t have a chance to check it. We didn’t ask that doctor to come; we didn’t know who he was. A month later we got a bill for $249.00 for the “consultation”. Again, avoid Dr Adams at all cost and do not let him be your doctor. If you happen to get him then kindly ask for another one.
