Doctor Complaint: N/a - Pitt County Memorial Hospital

Following abdominal surgery the nurses forgot to lock the wheels on the gurney they were transferring me to. When they attempted to drag me off the operating table onto the gurney it rolled away. Since both nurses were a table distance away they couldn't catch me. The anesthesiologist at my head did grab at my shoulders and neck, which left bruising and probably added to my injuries. I fell to the hard tile floor from the table height. I do remember the nurses discussing my weigh, which I'm sure was less than one of their's since he was a portly male nurse. I guess that would make it OK to drop him too. I have back, neck, shoulder, hip and knee pain, mostly on the right side. They were quite concerned and couldn't wait to get me out of there. After a couple of phone calls where they told me the gurney didn't malfuntion (human error) I haven't heard from them since. I had been referred to this hospital by my regular doctor because they were supposed to be the best in the area.
