Subject: Child Abuse
Ms. Gregoire, you stated, “ like you, my family is the center of my life, and making life better for our families’ is the real measure of our work in Olympia, Washington.“ My grand-child Shayna Krueger is being abused in the home of her so called suitable placement. My grand-child has been taken to Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma several times due to her elbow popping out of place and the physician was able to pop it back in. I have discussed this matter with physicians and caseworkers, they tell me these are indicators of abuse. The physicians stated to me this popping of the elbow occurs when the child’s arm is jerked or forcefully pulled. One would think, that one’s family member would be safe. I have told Children Service’s, Chrissy Wright and Kim Gabbard of my concerns. My grand-child is in an unsafe place. I don’t want her to end up like, Tyler DeLeon. At 20 months of age, Tyler was noted to have a large number of bruises over his whole body. Ms. DeLeon reported that he was fearless and inflected injuries on himself. Tyler’s caseworker was incompetent, even after a pattern of abuse, like Shayna. A LAW SUIT followed. Governor, I have ask you for your help before, you were elected for the people and by the people. You’re a mandated reporter, no child left behind, this includes Shayna. So get off your duff and DO YOUR JOB!!!
