Doctor Complaint: Doctor Jason Seilio - Advocate Christ Medical Center

I was visiting a family member as this party was treated in same day surgery. My mother became ill as she had been expereicing flu like symptoms. I had been most recently hospitalized and had major surgery, as I was hospitalized twice once at Mercy Hospital and secondly at Univeristy of Chicago Hospital. I felt due to this stress by my mother travelling from Indiana to Chicago and that I was possibly dying this added to her sickiness as she was more than likely not caring for her self properly. I indicated this to both Doctor and Medical intern Stephanie Tseeing. As my mother had not taken her medication and being a diabecitc she had not eaten..As we waiting to see the Doctor for eight hours as I pleaded for food and medication for her. Although she did require some test. Not one staff memeber come in to change a injury that she need to put on a hospital gown. She left the hospital dirty as no one came in to take off the leeds from the ekg. They were removed from home. The nurse prior to Shannon kept asking my mother what did she mean by flu like symptoms. My mother had cough, runny nose, sore and redness of her throat area, she had didfficulty breathing and had not had her high blood pressure medication. In addition to this complaint I was spoken to unprofessionally by thomas ward clerk on duty 3 to 11 shift and was improperly speokne to by Leah nurse whom evaluates medical conditions prior to seeing the emergency room doctor. Dr. Collins the ER supervisor came to the room as we did not ask to see him, however I desired to report how we were treated, which were like criminals and with little or no respect. Because the Doctor offered Tylenol, thier was no fever, he recommended an inhalant, he was trying to kill my mother and did not recommend medication needed. By her loss of weight he never questioned lsoing weight is suppose to assist in Diabetic promoted health. They did not give her food or medication and just released my mother as we walked ot the staff was laughing.
