Doctor Complaint: Dr.mcdonald - Jones Memorial Hospital
while in the hosdpital for 4 days,being given every-test there is,to see why my dad(73yrs.) was in severe pain in his stomache-I had to ask the doctor in charge that my dad-who has LUNG DISEASE and chronic Ashma,needs his daily staple medicine..Advire.He lives 200 miles away from us..and there was no-one to bring him his medicine from his home. The next day..SOMEONE gave my dad a DIRTY discusting filthy USED ADVIRE..that was already set on #12! That means SOMEONE else used it 12 times..or did they "share" it with many others? My dad,being on morphene,and in terrible pain,washed it off with mouthwash(afraid of complaining..in fear of they'll leave ya dead on the operating table..)but the damage was done..2 days later he has an infection..his white blood count is 15,000..and they discharged him! When he told dr.McDonald about the used ADVIRE- he slowly shook his head..and WALKED out of his room! He did not say..I am astounded someone would do this! Let me get to the bottom of this..and get you a new clean one.Please tell your LOVED ones..its ok..to refuse bad MEDICINE. The nurse was also told about this problem,to which she was more concerned with.."who-else" did my dad tell? Instead of finding out who did this atrocity! If they billed medicaid for this medicine..medicaid will be told about this..
