Doctor Complaint: Don't Know! - Benedictine Hospital
My grandmother has been in the hospital in Kingston waiting to see a Dr. since July 31 at 7pm. It is now 3:30pm August 2nd and she STILL has not seen a doctor. The nurses were extremely rude when asked to see the dr. and i even had to ask them to change her cathader bag as it was full and no one had checked it since she arrived. They completely ignored the woman in the room when she was pressing her "nurse" button, and when i got the nurses attention for the woman the nurse's response was "Oh, that lady, she is a pain in the ass anyway". My grandmother has multiple issues and they took mris, blood tests and catscans but still have given us no results and have not sent a doctor to discuss her condition. On top of that they are keeping her on minimal fluids, thus she has become dehydrated and disoriented. We eventually found out the doctor they kept telling us was on his way, wasn't even on duty! This staff is horrible, negligent and unhelpful. Please do NOT go to this hospital.
