Doctor Complaint: David Grice - Gricedermatology
went to the doctor - he wasn't there!!! - his associate was there (some PA guy - i think practioner associate?) - look at my file and said it was folliculitis but instead of regular ointment and anti-biotic he gave me - clindamycin phosphate and cephalexin 500mg - the clindamycin stings and only made the infection worse and the cephalexin anti-biotic didn't work.
I call up to say it didn't work and its making things worse - one of the staff or nurse told me to use it again and if it didn't work then call back to reschedule the checkup earlier. I did and went back, i told the (doctor isn't there again) associate its only making the infection worse. He told me "okay i want you to stop using it because it looks like its making it worse" (idiot) then he prescibe me altabax 1% ointment 5GM and doxycycline hyclate 100MG and hydroxyzine HCL - 25MG - he told me I have Staph Infection and took a sample, medicine didn't cure but it help a little bit - I went back for the third time, this time I got ultravate Pac Kit Ran and the ointment in the box work (not the lotion - it stings), its not Staph Infection but went ahead and took a part of my skin for examination. the final diagnosis is subacute spongiotic dermatitis with eosinophils - whatever that means!!!
