Doctor Complaint: Fariha Chaudhry - St James Hosps & Hlth Centers
I was referred to Dr. Fariha Chaudhry (neurologist) for head and neck pain after an ER visit. I was uninsured at the time. The doctor saw my insurance status on my chart and had the nerve to ask why I was there if I didn't have insurance. Of course my reply was that I needed her help. She proceeded to ask a couple of questions of which she never waited for an answer. She never examined my neck but did give me a couple of samples of muscle relaxers and then told me to come back when I had insurance. Another doctor informed me that I had rotated a vertebrae in my neck and it was not muscle related. To top it off, she charged well over 400.00. For what, muscle relaxers? I have never had such a horrible experience. This doctor has no business being in the medical field if her main concern is getting paid. What ever happened to providing health care for the sick and injured.
