I Christa Wilson had a Tubal Ligation on 4/29/05. I was only told that this surgery was a permanent thing, but that if at a later time I would like to reverse it there wouldn't be any issues. He did tell me there was a small failure rate as far as still being able to get pregnant, but it was better than regular birth control.. I was not INFORMED that there were any bad side effects. I was not INFORMED that you could get POST TUBAL LIGATION SYNDROME. I was not INFORMED of any of those symtems, I was not INFORMED that if for some reason you needed to have the surgery reversed that insurance companies would NOT cover it to be reversed even though it is for a medical reason. I was not INFORMED that there are very few doctors around that can even do a tubal reversal.. I went and saw Dr Howell on March of 2010 and everything that he said for any symtem that I had was because I had five kids.. My SEVER PAIN, MY HEAVY BLEEDING, MY BLOOD CLOTS, MY HEADACHES, MY MOODSWINGS, ITCHY SKIN,LOSS OF LIBIDO, ITCY DRY VAGINA LIKE A YEAST INFECTION WITHOUT THE INFECTION,MEMORY LAPSES,CAN'T LOSEWEIGHT,IRRATIBILITY,INCONTINENCE,GASTROINTESTINAL UPSET,ALLERGIES,WEIGHT GAIN,DIZZINESS, LIGHTHEADEDNESS,STABBING PAINS IN THE PELVIC AREA, HAIR LOSS,DRY VAGINA,TROUBLE SLEEPING,AND THERE IS MORE

This is not only effecting me it is effecting my family and my marraige,I can't keep going on like this.. I can't come up with the money that is needed for this surgery.. It is unfair to me and anyone else who might have to go through this.. I wouldn't wish this on my worse enemy.. On top of that i noticed when I requested my record they had someone in my record that wasn't even me, but had them under my name, my social, and everything else.. That has been turned back into the hosp. If I had been told this upfront about all the symptoms and everything regarding post tubal ligation syndrome or that you could even get it, I would have never had the surgery in the first place.. Why would I put my life in jepordy? I need help and I need it now I can't take it anymore, I don't know what to do I can't raise that kind of money for the surgery.. I have 5 children to think about, but if I don't get this taken care of soon, then I might not even be around to take care of them. This is ruining my life and my family.Oh also my husband and I noticed in my records that from the appt that information from the visit isn't true or it contridicts what it says from one page to the other. Thanks for listening.. I have to come up with something cause like I said I can't take feeling like this anymore..

I am so sorry this has happened. It is unbelievable that they wouldn't tell you the side effects. I sure hope you get help soon
