Doctor Complaint: Joan Nealon, Cavs - Centrastate Healthcare System
My daughter had applied for volunteer program 5 - 6 months before at CentraState Healthcare System hospital at Freehold, NJ. I received a letter on Jan 19 saying there is an orientation on Jan 18, 2010. I talk to Joan Nealon the Director at Volunteer and Guest Services. She argued with me saying that they mailed letters on Dec 29, 2009 and since my daughter did not attend the orientation she is not eligible for volunteering at the hospital. She said I have to find out from the post office. I asked her that the letter is dated Jan 4 how can she mailed on Dec 29. Then she asked me to send a copy of the letter. After she receive the letter she says I called and talk to her secretary Avallon on Jan 15 during that conversation she had mention to me that the Orientation was on Jan 18. This is total lie. My question is "if I had not made that call on Jan 15 what would be her justification of my daughter not attending the Orientation? "
My daughter has been waiting for last 6 months to volunteer, she submitted all the papers, going to medical tests, TB test, H1N1 vaccine, Flu vaccine everything at the end the Director, Joan Nealon argues though she mailed the letter late "it is our problem".
