Doctor Complaint: Vanessa Diaz - Florida Hospital
I went to Florida Hospital ER on 12/23/11 and when I was leaving I was asked to pay. I wanted my insurance billed and if I owed anything I wanted to be billed. That was not how they do things. I charged my Discover card and my insurance paid their claim in full leaving me no patient responsibility. I have contacted the hospital 5 times and they are not refunding my Discover card. I am paying interest on a charge that I did not owe and now I have to wait until they are good and ready to credit me. I am sick and tired of being hounded for money. I am more than willing to pay what I owe and only what I owe. Florida Hospital is all about money, not patient care. I want to know why they can refuse to refund my money.
