Ok, this is my third and LAST dealing with this crappy hospital. Each time they were so disorganized that my wife and my mother were not able to eat for a full 24 hours. My wife was told she was scheduled for surgery the following morning at 6 am and to not eat after midnight, my mother was told she was scheduled for 8 am and not to eat after midnight. BOTH times did not get into surgery until midnight the following night. so that is 18 and 16 hours later than they claimed and to top it off they did not keep us in the loop as to why, when or any information as to what to expect. For me personally, I was told to go there by my doctor because I was coughing up blood and that was where he suggested, I was so scared I didn't care and just went. I arrived at the ER at 1 pm and I did not get into a room until 3 am. I actually asked the doctor what the plan of attack was and she said and I quote "I don't know". WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!!! They didn't know what was wrong because I had a ton of infection but I felt great other than the blood. They kept me in isolation in a room that was literally 95 degrees and I called 3 times to get the temperature check before someone finally came 12 hours after my first call. They did not fix it so thank somebody there was a nice nurse there that found me a fan because they ended up NOT fixing the temperature my entire 3 day stay. I then found out that because the idiot doctor wasn't on the ball enough that I had to stay an extra day because they should have been collecting my sputum for a full day and they missed the morning because she didn't know what the hell she was doing. She should go back to India and be a goat herder. I asked for something to help me sleep the first night because there was some person down the hall screaming for hours (I wasn't in isolation yet) and this idiot doctor told me no. I wish I had her name so I could post it now but unfortunately I do not. Yes, I know I should keep my opinions out and just state the facts but I had to get out some aggression. Saint Peters in New Brunswick New Jersey is consistently disorganized, unemphatic and just plain bad. Steer clear at all costs.

Facility: Monroe Geriatrics.
June 21st blood and urine test and then specifically asked to send results as I am monitoring my PSA levels having had hormonial therapy a year ago. Dr Nihalani acquiesed as it was done the time before. Last check it [PSA} was rising again wherby an assistant called advising of this reaction. A good doctor makes their own calls!!Told her to send test emphazing importance of test for an oncology appointment Robert Fein. In the processs of trying to resolve I encountered a bewildering attutude wherby the women[?} hung up the phone. She called back minutes later and told me there was an unfortionate phone disconnect?. Eventually I was able to converse with Dr Nihalani who seemed to be be passive and abrupt and then volunteered a woman {Lillian ??}to vent a complaint.Like some kind of standard procedure and matter of fact Here it is July 6th and no blood test has arrived in the mail [note request started 3 weeks ago] but now if I want I can pick it up??.What happened to the mail or fax? Some garbage has to go to New Brusnwicketc , still can't follow
My past experience has been one day to just two days for results and during operations instantaniously. Nothing is unimportant when a ptatient's interests are at stake. At least I thought so.
This is my second bout with cancer in addition to heart desease. Where would a normal person seek help? Incidently 4 of my children were born at St Peters
