Doctor Complaint: Jonathan Purcell - University Of Chicago Hosp

I went to the emergancy after a car accident and not only was the wait long 10hours but when I was called to the emergancy department so wer several other people we were told to sit in a row of chairs in a hallway and were approch by the doctor and asked in front of the other patients what was our problem and there was no examination we just pointed to what hurted and given almost identical treatments for whaever we were there for. I can tell you why the other three people were there for, the lady siting next to me was a psych case who was drug seeking ahd was given vicoden, xanax, and a blood pressure med. the person next to her was in a car accident the day before and she received vicoden, flexeril, and Ibuprofen, the last person had been beat up by her boy freind and was given vicoden, and was to be taken to a safe house once she had gotten her child. this is totaly a HIPA violation and a violation of patients rights and privacy. I could also tell the problems of the nest three people who replaced the first but that's taking this alittle to far. I feel that i was violated and not proprly treated.
