Doctor Complaint: Er Unknown - Hamot Medical Center
My back has been hurt to the point where i could hardly walk. i went to hamot to get looked at. after 5.5 hours of waiting i finally got in to see a doctor, the first question was who was my family doctor was. i told them i had never been to a doctor, then i was asked why i wasn't insured. after i got my temperature and blood pressure taken and reflexes checked. i was then told i more than likely have vascular problems and spinal injury. then told there was nothing they could do till i got a family doctor and insurance. i just received the bill today 1000.00 for absolutely nothing. i am 52 years old and never been to a doctor and now i no i will never go again, i would rather die then kiss someones ass.
