I arrived at the ER at 1:00pm complainting about my sickess that accured three days after my surgery. The nurse that did my surgery stated that if I have any pains or started vomiting to rush my self back into the hospital immediately. I set in the emergency room in pain & vomiting no one came out to see about my wellbeeing. I contue to wait in ER for my name to be called and noone never called it. I sit there for over 17hrs still didn't get seen by any doctors, my daughters end up rushing me to another hospital were I was seen immediately.

If anyone has complaints about hospitals, go to http://www.jointcommission.org and make a formal complaint. They are the organization that surveys many hospitals including John Stroger Cook County hospital in chicago.

I am BEYOND BELIEF Disappointed in this hospital!!! Not only is the staff rude and beligerent I had called and was on hold for 15 min not once did someone say hello or please and thank you. They are ghetto and have a HUGE attitude problem and none the less I was hung up on. When you walk into the hospital bathrooms they are NOT cleaned! There is urine and toilet paper all over the floor and its really disturbing that a McDonald's bathroom is cleaner than a HOSPITAL. Its very rare to find a "good"nurse there who actually acts like a nurse. They yell, are lazy, and dont deserve to work there! This hospital is horrible and its so sad that a hospital that is funded by tax payers and the government is so ridiculously poorly run!Hospital "ghetto nursing and admintstrative staff" needs to be all thrown out and replaced with people who actually want to help other people.
